U.S. workplace communication and culture — taught together.

How you learn

Two parts that work as one: a self-paced online learning platform that fits around your work, and weekly live online sessions in small groups with an experienced communication coach. You prepare independently, then practice in realistic workplace situations with feedback, questions, and other professionals preparing for a similar transition.

Why this isn't a language course

Traditional language courses often focus on general proficiency and linguistic accuracy. BelongPath adds the workplace context: when to speak up, how feedback is communicated, how trust is built, and what common business phrases mean in practice. Language and workplace expectations are taught together because they are closely connected in everyday professional situations.

What you can do afterwards

Depending on the program and your individual goals, you may, for example:

  • Speak up in meetings and presentations without freezing.

  • Read between the lines and understand what colleagues and managers actually mean.

  • Give and receive feedback in ways that align with common U.S. workplace expectations.

  • Handle small talk, build trust, and come across as the professional you already are.

Who it is for

Professionals from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland who are preparing for a U.S. assignment or have recently arrived in the United States.

When to start

Ideally before the move, with the option to continue during the first months in the United States.

What to expect

Self-paced learning, weekly live sessions, practical workplace scenarios, and coach feedback.

Where you start

Everyone begins with a solid communication base for the U.S. workplace, then goes deeper depending on your role and goals, whether you're an engineer, a project lead, or moving into a role with more visibility. We'll point you to the right path in a short call.

Getting started

It begins with a short conversation about the move, the role, and the timeline. From there we recommend the right starting point and the next available group. Simple, structured, and built around your schedule.

Not sure which path fits? Let's talk it through.
